Requirements Telugu Search requires a Java-Enabled Browser (Java 1.1.5 or higher) andworks with the following environments: Telugu Search supports 3 different keyboard layouts. 1. Romanised Layout : In Romanised layout, phoenetic Englishmappings are used to compose the Telugu Text. For example, the keysraamaa (or rAmA) can be used to type 'Rama'. 2. Typewriter Layout : This layout is similar to the Telugu typewriterlayout & useful for Telugu typists & other people familiar withTelugu Typewriter layout. 3. DOE Phoenetic : This layout is standardized by the Department Of Electronics(DOE), Govt Of India. The advantage of this layout is that thelayout remains identical for all Indian Languages. For example, the key 'k'is used to represent the letter 'ka' in all Indian Languages. The Keyboard Layout and the Key Sequence Charts can beused to find the correct key combinations.
